Having Club de nuit and smelled Aventus a bunch of times this only slightly reminds of it in the beginning. So from my findings, it’s not out projecting Y edp, it lasts pretty long and on my skin, the Cambodian oud is definitely there. Eventually dries down to a leather with some lemon and vanilla with the woodiness still there if you put nose to skin. I owe a vintage screw cap bottle of Cedrat Boisé, and I cant smell a huge difference with Cedrat Boise Intense.

Mancera Cedrat Boise, a cold-weather marvel, impresses with an unparalleled scent and enduring performance. I like it enough to keep it, but I'm not sure how much I will wear it, so I will downgrade from a Love to a Like now that the first flush of enthusiasm has subsided. It's more its own thing, instead of reminding of the dreadful aventus (the absolu is nice, but the OG is trash -IMOO). Please read the full reviews and consider your own needs and preferences before making a purchasing decision. It also doesn't have the strong fruity vibe in the opening like the OG, but that part last on the OG for less than 30 minutes at most. The performance it's enormous, it's lasting easily 10+ hours and projecting for 3 minimum, niche performance for sure. I don’t think it’s stronger than the original or that much more lasting, but this is the more refined smoother version that makes the og redundant.

After watching tons of fragrance reviews on Cedrat Boise, I must say I'm very happy with my purchase and eager to try other compliment drawing Mancera fragrances. The scent is his old apartment reeking of smoke, and him trying to obfuscate the smell with a cheap citrus Febreze. One thing to note: this fragrance is labeled as an 'extrait de parfum', however, on the bottom of the bottle it reads as 'eau de parfum'. Not hating on the scent but adding to some of the other reviewers who say they get trash performance, me too. Once you get into the deep dry down, it becomes a bit too much of a resinous, woody scent that I find has a murky feeling, like fruit gone bad.Acquired Mancera Cedrat Boise in 2024, a scent masterpiece that unveils its magic in colder weather.

And not apparently evident in this case--but quite often the case in men's perfumery-- adding the word Intense to a fragrance is nothing more than a marketing gimmick utilized to sell the fragrance; because it often turns out that the fragrance smells quite different from the original, while having the same or sometimes worse performance. The scent itself is excellent, although slightly synthetic, its woody and creamy dried lemon, i love it.The oud is very mild here, but any more would probably break the delicate balance that’s struck here. I was really looking forward to trying this, as I know it's pretty popular and I have high expectations from anything by Mancera. I like having both and I get back up bottles for my favorites, so that's what I consider this to be. The only letdown is that it smells a bit synthetic which should not be a thing for a niche fragrance, it is a problem for most Mancera and Montale (sister company) fragrances.
