Jurassic World Extreme Chompin' Spinosaurus Dinosaur Action Figure, Huge Bite, Authentic Decoration, Movable Joints& Dominion Roar Strikers Pteranodon Dinosaur Action Figure
About this deal
To my eyes, the 2021 Spinosaurus is essentially built the same as the original Legacy Collection version. Plenty of collectors (myself included) were quite frustrated with what seemed like a mishandling of this highly-coveted figure, and were left wondering if another chance to obtain it at normal retail would arise. But, for any spinosaur lovers or Jurassic Park collectors who truly and desperately want this toy, I’d say go ahead. In regards to scientific accuracy, the one thing that can be excused right off the bat are the long legs.
Since picking up the IP from Hasbro in the buildup to Fallen Kingdom, Mattel has been pumping out a wide range of species with generally strong sculpts and fun gimmicks. Kids can create their own exciting Jurassic World stories with this large Spinosaurus dinosaur toy with an awesome snap attack feature and included toy figure. It’s too wide, features two head crests placed above the eyes as opposed to one crest atop the skull, has the nostrils placed too far forward, is shrink-wrapped and lacks the signature fish trapping tooth notch at the end of the snout. Unlike the Hasbro toy line, only one toy of the Spinosaur appeared in the Kaiyodo toy line made for Jurassic Park III.
Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive. When prey is captured, just use the push button activation to move the jaw and this incredible creature exposes huge teeth and a HUGE BITE! Another release did indeed happen in 2019, repurposing the figure with bright colors and battle damage effects, but this Walmart-exclusive release ended up being as rare as the Target one. It’s very hard to get and you’ll probably see yourself spending months or, in my case, years trying to get a hold of it.The trigger also activates multi-coloured fin lights while her eyes light up and dinosaur sounds come out. For extra-action fun and playability, Extreme Chompin' Spinosaurus's head, arms, legs and tail are articulated.
Pressing the JP3 button results in the head swinging upwards and roaring proudly, but oddly enough the toy does not use the classic Jurassic Park 3 Spinosaurus roar, the roar is an extremely generic dinosaur roar that could have been bellowed from any larger dinosaur. One downside is that, due to its front heavy nature, the Spinosaurus may have trouble holding all poses, since the legs “lock” in a specific way and are looser in other positions.Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places.
