IT Chapter One [DVD]
About this deal
The story revolves around a predatory shapeshifter which has the ability to transform itself into its prey's worst fears, allowing it to exploit the phobias of its victims.
In 1990, a group of seven childhood friends, known as The Losers Club, reunite to combat a mysterious threat which they had thought was long since buried. The worries, the fears of bullying, the drudgery of housework, and the adventure of hanging with your friends is perfectly captured by King and fairly well recreated by the filmmakers. utting It is a BBC television drama series set in Manchester, England, focusing on the lives and loves of the team running a hairdressing salon. In Derry, Maine, seven young friends unite against a terrifying supernatural creature that has been haunting their small town for centuries. Now, I know they say you should never go back but it started off really well with the reading of Salem’s Lot which was just as involved, detailed and scary as I remember it.The series followed Carl, Andy and Jon as three self-proclaimed Generation X-ers going through life without any real responsibilities to worry them. Even though I had major problems with the audiobook of IT, it is still much better than the 1990 TV adaptation. Gerade das man weiß das hinter dem Clown (1992) eine große Gefahr steckt macht für mich den Horror aus ! Series 3: Mother and daughter Allie and Ruby (Sarah Parish and Lucy Gaskell) are both heavily pregnant to the same man - but how long will the secret remain under wraps? When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
To complicate matters Finn's ex wife Mia sets out to win him back at all costs and Gavin enters into a relationship with Allie and Finn's daughter Ruby. Months later, during the spring semester at their school, Bill befriends the overweight new kid Ben Hanscom. What amazed me was that the children were extreamly good in there roles which is not always the case . They descend into the sewers once again, with Pennywise informing them that they will never see It, just what their “tiny human minds” can comprehend. It wasn't particularly scary, so if you hear the name "Stephen King" and are expecting the most terrifying experience of your life, this isn't for you.
Director Tommy Lee Wallace, who admitted never having read the novel beforehand, seems to have this obsession with dramatic staging, the type you see in the theater with characters walking away from the action and looking far off into the distance in odd poses.Series 4: The salon's thriving, and Allie wants to expand and open her own hairdressing academy, bringing on a new generation of hairdressers.
It kills Victor, who had separated to set an ambush on the Losers, and Belch, who helps Henry separate Stan from the others, sparing a horrified Henry while chasing Stan as he regroups with the Losers. As children they discover an ancient force which seems to come alive every thirty years and starts killing the children of the town of Derry, Maine.
