None of the scenes are really missed in the film - especially not one of the terrible alternate endings that shows some of the characters at college - but they’re worth a look.

Bring It On," takes place at a high school where the cheerleading squad seems well on its way to another sensation victory. When you have a film about cheerleading you are not going to have blatant nudity and stuff like that. The film presents a lighthearted, slightly quirky exploration of the cutthroat but perky world of professional cheerleading competitions. The DVD offers excellent picture and sound plus a solid complement of supplements headlined by an absolutely splendid audio commentary.Nonetheless, it’s a fun piece that’s executed in a manner that flirts with excess and absurdity but manages to keep enough of a foot in reality to be entertaining. The problem is that they have been saddled with a routine stolen from the Clovers, an up-and-coming team from East Compton who are struggling to get the money necessary for their entry in the championship. I knew she had the charm and she knew how to ride this tonal line of what was funny about it and commit to the situation. BIO fares nicely when it depicts the squads at work; some strong choreography and fine staging makes these scenes surprisingly vibrant. The guys from Warrant are probably going to show up at my house and kick my ass for saying how much.

Then the new team captain, Torrance (Kirsten Dunst), discovers that her predecessor has stolen their phenomenal act from a rival team. It’s a slick clip but I thought it seemed somewhat mean-spirited in the way it delighted in the boy’s physical pain. Destiny (Cristine Prosperi), captain of the Rebels and not named after any town in California, figures that her squad needs more male performers so she recruits a gang of street dancers led by Blake (Jordan Rodrigues) to come up with some killer moves that will take down The Truth in their ultimate smack-down. A couple of weeks before we started shooting I stopped by the rehearsal places at the gym, and the first half of the day were these amazing dance choreographies and in the second half of the day were the gymnastic and cheerleading moves being rehearsed. Music also spread neatly to the surrounds, which provided positive reinforcement of the forward spectrum.Action Shots” includes 20 stills from the movie, while “Spirit Stuff” lets you install a BIO screensaver. But for newly-elected team captain, the Toros’ road to total cheer glory takes a shady turn when she discovers that their perfectly-choreographed routines were in fact stolen. Just guess, / Guys wanna touch my chest, / I'm rockin', I smile, / And many think I'm vile, / I'm flyin', I jump, / You can look but don't you hump, / Whoo / I'm major, I roar, / I swear I'm not a whore, / We cheer and we lead, / We act like we're on speed, / Hate us 'cause we're beautiful, / Well we don't like you either, / We're cheerleaders, / We are cheerleaders.
