As for clarity, with a resolution of 1404 x 1872, the Note Air 2 Plus is crisp, sporting 227 pixels in every inch of screen (PPI), not much less than the iPad Pro (265PPI), and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra (240PPI). There’s some heft to the device, the Note Air 2 Plus weighing in at 445g, although I found it comfortably to hold in one hand.

Naturally, the screen refresh in other apps can feel really sluggish, but the Boox software makes it possible to configure just about everything, on a per-app basis as well as globally for the entire system. Others say that the UI is very ergonomic but not the most user friendly until you are used to it, it takes a little getting used to, and there's quite a lot of setting up to do. It may use the same E Ink technology made famous on the Kindle, but the Note Air 2 is all about productivity. Front light: 32 levels of cold and warm dual color temperature Touch: Electromagnetic + capacitive dual touch Processor: Octa-core 2. Turn on the backlight, and this time goes down significantly, but you can still expect a solid few days of regular use from the backlit Note Air 2 Plus.Anecdotally, after four days' worth of light testing with some reading, sketching, and taking notes, the 3,000mAh Note Air 2 still had 58% of its battery left. That said, Google turns a very mellow blind eye to Onyx's workaround that lets you easily install Google Play. That’s a huge advantage since the Apple Pencil seems unable to retain charge for more than a few days. In addition, the clip-on mechanism meant that it was never at risk of falling off or becoming displaced, unlike the case on the Huawei MatePad Paper.

You can watch videos on the Note Air 2 Plus but I wouldn’t recommend it at all as the quality won’t be the best.Bested only by the Kindle Scribe when it comes to sharpness, I haven’t got any complaints when it comes to the Note Air 2 Plus’s screen quality. It's slim, feels premium, supports loads of apps, and packs bells and whistles aplenty, not to mention a pen in the box. Onyx isn't stopping at tablets; it makes an ePaper monitor too, and its largest tablet, the Max Lumi 2 features a giant 13. The screen was easy on the eyes and I could read in both dark and bright environments, making it a versatile device.

They mention that it is very slow and clunky to use, and it takes a long time to boot up, load apps, and spend a lot of time waiting. Models from the Tab series are built with a dedicated GPU and Boox’s proprietary Super Refresh technology. I bought this about a month ago to use alongside another well known e-ink device, and was pleasantly surprised - so much so that its now a regular part of my work/home life. Therefore, it is best to communicate clearly, in simple sentences and avoid the use of idioms and metaphors that could be taken literally. Usable ink speed is largely restricted to Onyx's built-in Notes app, although Onyx has been trying to optimize the experience for other apps. This could be excused as an oversight on a first-gen product, but the second time around, it doesn't make any sense to us. So ein analoges Notizbuch lässt sich nicht so leicht umsortieren und wenn es verloren geht, sind auch alle Notizen weg.
